The new generation iPhone SE will probably arrive in the first half of 2022 with support for 5G network

Apple seems to be happy with the sale of the iPhone SE. According to rumors, the Cupertinoites plan to introduce the new generation of iPhone SE in the first half of next year.

The initial version of the Apple iPhone SE was released in 2016 and was able to attract users’ attention and become one of the best options on the market. The next version of the device was released four years later in 2020, and now, according to Ming-Chi Koo, Apple wants to release a new version of the iPhone SE in the first half of 2022.

However, do not expect much change in the new version of the iPhone SE as this leading analyst of Apple products points out that the new phone is almost the same as the current model and follows the design of the iPhone 8. However, the new iPhone SE 2022 is believed to support 5G and a new chipset.

The second generation of iPhone SE phones like the iPhone 11 use the same A13 Bionic processor, so Apple may use the A15 chip in the new iPhone SE 2022 like the iPhone 13. The iPhone SE became one of the best-selling phones of 2020 with its $ 399 price tag, according to Omdia. However, if Apple can keep the price of the new iPhone SE 2022 low while adding 5G network, it will experience very good sales.

There are also other rumors that Apple may introduce a new iPhone SE Plus that uses a larger display and Touch ID sensor located on the phone’s power button. Of course, Ming-Chi Koo did not mention this new device in his last note, so it is not yet possible to officially confirm the existence of this device and we will have to wait for more official news. However, the new iPhone SE is expected to be unveiled at Apple’s first spring event.

Finally, Koo also stated that Apple is working on a new version of the iPhone 11 with a 6-inch display, Face ID and 5G network, but we will have to wait until 2023 to unveil it.
